And forget not that the earth delights to feel your bare feet and the winds long to play with your hair. ~ Kahlil Gibran

Ooohh, Inky!

When Little Sprout was sick on Monday night, we had to wash her cuddle-blanky. I forgot all about it during the day on Tuesday. When evening rolled around, Little Sprout was being a little cranky and I was desperate to find something to calm her down.

Like a bolt of lightning, the thought of her little blanket came into my head. I had Little Sprout follow me to the laundry room and I pulled it out of the dryer. Both arms went up into the air and she started bouncing up and down.

She grabbed the blanket out of my hands and held it up to her cheek, swaying back and forth and saying "Oh, Inky! My Inky. ohhhhh" This has continued since.

Who'd have thunk that that little thing could be so important? It is really cute.

My John had a "wanky" which was one of those flanel receiving blankets. Fortunately we had four of them that he couldn't tell apart so there was always a clean one. Hope she's feeling better.

Love your new template!
