And forget not that the earth delights to feel your bare feet and the winds long to play with your hair. ~ Kahlil Gibran

What Goes Up....

Yeah, so my mood yesterday was up....way up. Now it is down....way down.

I still love the house, don't get me wrong. It is other things that are going poorly for me.

Little Sprout must be teething. She is fine in the morning, but then develops a fever as the day goes on. She isn't eating well, and is CRANKY. She also won't nap for me. Which means I don't get to nap, either.

Big Sprout, either because of the stress of the move and switching schools or because she is reaching "that age", is alternately super sensitive or snotty as anything. I am trying to cut her a little slack since things have been really stressful around here just lately, but I am about at the end of the rope.

Then there is Mr. Barefoot and his gol~dang OPINIONS again! Really, where does this guy get the idea that he has the right to opinions?! Ok, so I know that it isn't fair for me to be telling him he can't have them, but when they don't agree with mine it gets irritating. Really.

I am also bumming because I have not been able to do any work in my garden over at my folks, and it doesn't look like I will be able to later this week, either. It hasn't been a total loss (I mean, 20 lbs of beans can't be considered a loss, can it), but I am definitely not living up to the expectations I had for myself and my garden.

And now I have to hustle off to work, never my favorite thing. Blah.

Ah, well....this, too, shall pass. Right?!

Well, you know the old saying, "When it rains, it sh*ts all over you!" That is the saying, right??

Everyone is feeling the stress. Even when move is your idea and something you really want, it can't help but be stressful.

As for the garden... don't be too hard on yourself. See the above. I am not moving and yet, I can't get to my gardening, and it is right outside my front door!!

Yeah, what she said!

You've got a lot on your plate now, and you're being pulled in several different directions. Might not feel like it now, but things will settle and you'll be up again!

Hang in there, the garden isn't going anywhere! :o)

(((((HUGS))))) I hope LS's teeth come in quickly, so she can get over the extra fussiness. I hope BS is just needing a chance to settle in, and her bad attitude leaves quickly. And I hope Mr. BG learns that "when Mama ain't happy, ain't NOBODY happy". *grin*

(((((HUGS))))) again and best wishes for a fabulous weekend!
