Why My Brother is THE MOST AMAZINGLY COOL BROTHER IN THE UNIVERSE!!!!!!

My brother, who just happens to work for the county public health office, is amazing and wonderful and oh so cool.

Since he works for the public health office, he knows lots and lots about child safety. He is really smart. I have been asking him about car seats lately because Little Sprout is ready to be moved out of her infant seat into something more appropriate for her size. She is coming up on both her 1st birthday and the maximum weight limit for her infant seat.

I have also been worrying about how to fit 2 new car seats into my already tight budget. Or how to handle the car seat switching that would have to happen if I only got one.

Today I went for the weekly lunch out with my dad and WONDERFUL BROTHER. Everything went about normal (with the exception of our favorite waitress, Sarah, not being there), and we all headed out to our cars together.

When I looked in the car as I was unlocking it, I saw a car seat safety manual on the floor. So I laughed at my WONDERFUL BROTHER and asked if he had stuck it in my car. He said "No", and I immediately became nervous. Was I unlocking the wrong car? Something seemed off, but I couldn't put my finger on it. Then I realised....

THIS was in my car instead of Little Sprout's usual car seat base!!!

I couldn't believe it! My WONDERFUL, FABULOUS BROTHER got this Graco Comfort Sport Car Seat for Little Sprout. It is her (early) birthday present. He even installed it (that is part of his job, you know, teaching moms how to properly install car seats). I am so happy!!!

I gotta say, I am a really lucky girl to have him for a brother, and the Sprouts are VERY LUCKY to have him as an uncle.

THANK YOU, YOU WONDERFUL, FABULOUS BROTHER!!!!!

Edited to add: He is good looking and single, girls! No (terribly) bad habits, housebroken, has a steady job....what do you think?

It really was.

He has come a long way from the little rugrat that used to make my life miserable.

I am really proud of him.
