After a solid week of working myself into the ground (literally, you can come see the holes), I am finally done with all that I realistically expected to accomplish while I had time off work.
Well, there are two little-bitty things that I am going to finish up...wait, THREE little-bitty things that I am going to finish up tonight yet and then tomorrow, but other than that I am done. It may not be as dramatic of a change as I had hoped, but at least Mr. Barefoot will be able to tell that I didn't spend my week sitting on the couch with a pile of bon-bons.
Now I can go back to work with the knowledge that at least some of the projects I had slated to get done this summer are completed. That means that the rest of the summer can be spent getting some quality time with cheesecake.
Hehe.
I will post pictures after Mr. Barefoot brings home my camera, and I expect all of you to oooh and aaaah just like you are watching 4th of July fireworks. Just so you know.

I hope you finished your brick project. I am sure it looks great.
That line about the baby in the winter boots, diaper and a t-shirt reminded me of my youngest as a baby. He wore red whinney the Pooh galoshers in the summer with his brother's cut off jeans and was too cute. Thanks for the memory.
You're welcome, Pam.
It is so cute when kids run around dressed all funny like that...why can't I get away with it? I am sure SOMEONE would call the guys with the white coats and butterfly nets if I tried to run around town in my panties, a t-shirt, and a pair of furry boots.....
Can't wait to see the pictures! Maybe the Mr. will bring you a cheesecake for all your hard effort!!
