The sun is shining, it is warm outside, the air smells fresh and clean.....Ahhhhh, Spring is here! Or, it will be once the plants get the hint and start putting out leaves. I don't even care that everything is dull and brown right now. There are no lingering snowbanks covering the grass, so I am happyhappyhappy!
The Sprouts have been playing with bubbles a lot the last few days. Little Sprout just loves bubbles. I am just as enthusiastic, if only for the fact that she is well occupied while there are bubbles to play with, meaning I can have a few moments of Peace and Quiet.
Soon the world will be bright with new leaves and the first blossoms of Spring. My mind is buzzing with plans for flowers and veggies and being out in the dirt once again. I have forgotten what it feels like to wear something other than warm winter layers, and am looking forward to letting some air at my skin once again. I am even looking forward to my first sunburn of the year.
Yeah, I got it bad....
