And forget not that the earth delights to feel your bare feet and the winds long to play with your hair. ~ Kahlil Gibran

How Many Days Have I Lost?

That many, huh?

Sorry.

It has been busy around the Barefoot Manor. Little Sprout's birthday rolled around, and then we celebrated my grandmother's 80th birthday. Of course, my Saturday Client (Job #2) turns 98 this Dec. She told me that Grandma is still a "spring chicken". I don't know if Grandma agrees.

Anyway....

Really I have just been trying to keep my head above water here. I think I have slept something like 5 or 6 hours since Sunday Morning, and I am VERY READY for a nap. Of course, I have to go pick up Big Sprout's fund-raiser crap from the school in about half an hour, and then wait for Mr. Barefoot to get home first. THEN I am going to crawl into my nice big bed, snuggle under my covers, and refuse to move until sometime tomorrow.

Of course, Dad and I are planning on starting to tear down the shed in the backyard tomorrow. The idiot previous owners here planted a shed in the only corner of the yard that receives ANY kind of sun, and that sucker has got to go. I wanna have me some veggies from my own dirt next year, and to do that I need me some sun exposure. We are gonna try to save the materials so that I can make a smaller garden/potting shed to keep MY yard goodies in. Mr. Barefoot has laid claim to the garage ("It's my MAN-CAVE" he says), so I need a place for my stuff....it will be interesting to see how this goes.

Other than that, life is just going on....maybe tomorrow I will have some kind of funny story for you. After all, I will be dealing with tools. That usually results in some strange situations....

Take care of yourself first Barefoot! It sounds like you're working way too hard.....

thanks for the concern, ladies. I just woke up from a 12 hour nap, and as soon as I wake up all the way I am sure I will feel much better!
