As Promised.

You see this? This, my friends, is the very first serious cross-stitch project I have ever finished. I plan to have it framed and hung somewhere in whatever home I end up living in. Since Big Sprout wants a "purple room", I am guessing that it will end up in there.

Just in case you missed it, here is another shot. Oh, and the pics are clickable, so you can see in detail how wonderfully crafty and patient I am.

Oh Barefoot, it's so beautiful--I love all the little animals!

A bit of advice from someone who working in a framing gallery for 3 years--spend the extra money to have this framed by someone who knows how to frame needlework and uses archival techniques and products. After all the work you've put into this I would hate to see it ruined by an unprofessional framing job.

DANG!!!! That turned out beautifully!!!! You certainly DO have patience!!! And I'm sure it'll pretty up any room you decide to put it in!!!! (Well, I don't think a room decorated all Nascar could be salvaged, but.... any OTHER room you were to put it in.)

*blush* Thanks, all.

And Ruthie, thanks for the hint...I had planned to do it myself, but I think you are maybe right. Six months of work is a lot to take a chance with.
