And forget not that the earth delights to feel your bare feet and the winds long to play with your hair. ~ Kahlil Gibran

Poor Mr. Barefoot

He is trying so hard to let me have time to sleep. Unfortunately, I have been struck by the insomnia bug. Poor Mr. Barefoot comes home early, makes meals, and does laundry in attempts to take the pressure off me so that I can sleep. I ruin it by having my brain go into overdrive the minute my head hits the pillow, resulting in my wandering around the apartment getting in his way.

I would love to have the seemingly magic ability to fall asleep within 5 minutes of my head hitting the pillow, the way he does. It would make my life so much easier.

Mr. Barefoot leaves tomorrow for an overnight thing for work. Of course I am working, so I will be desperately sleep deprived by the time he comes home. I am hoping all goes well, though, as this has the potential to do great things for him and his company. I never would have thought that I would marry the kind of person who "handles accounts" and "wines and dines clients". Harder still to understand is his passion for his work. I guess it is good that he loves a job that pays fairly well, though, since my passion (and talents) lie in the realm of "work for peanuts".

Well, I am off to work (again)

Have you tried journaling, or jotting notes of what's going on in your head to get it down???? *sigh* I'm sorry you're sleeping so poorly lately and I hope that tonight is much better.

That does help a little, but my brain has a seemingly endless supply of things to keep me awake with. No sooner do I write something down than something else pops into my head. Before I know it, I have journalled and listed my nap-time away. :(

Thank goodness for Sominex, Tylenol PM, and Trazadone for the really bad days! :)
