And forget not that the earth delights to feel your bare feet and the winds long to play with your hair. ~ Kahlil Gibran

Mr. Barefoot is Going to Kill Me

Okay, I have been sitting on this story for a couple of weeks because I was sure Mr. Barefoot would NOT want me to share it.

However, he rarely reads my blog and my Mom laughed so hard when I told her I thought she was going to hurt herself.

So.....

Mr. Barefoot likes to hang out around the house shirtless. One day, he was sitting in his favorite chair in the living room watching (of course) wrestling and Little Sprout was bringing him toys, hugging him, and generally doing everything she could to distract him. I was busy on the 'puter (like that is unusual).

Pretty soon, I heard Mr. Barefoot let out a totally girly squeak and start giggling. He kept telling Little Sprout to stop it and then laughing and then yelling for help.

Of course, being the curious cat that I am, I had to poke my head in to see what was going on.

Imagine my surprise when I observed Little Sprout LICKING MR. BAREFOOT'S BELLY BUTTON!!!

Obviously, there was no way I was going to rescue him. It was just too funny. Instead I frantically began searching for my camera. I found it just when Little Sprout decided that Daddy's belly button wasn't as tasty as she thought it would be and stopped.

Kids are fun, when they torture someone else.

Great anecdote!

Family is just the best thing in the world and kids are just the icing on top of everything.

ROFL Glad she realized fairly quickly, though, that daddy's belly button doesn't taste very good. *grin* That sounds like something that'd win the $10,000 if submitted to AFV, though.

Eghads! LOL My dad's belly button used to scare me because there was usually some sort of lint hiding there. *shudder*

That is priceless!! Kids make up for the whining with such cute material, don't they?? Too bad about the lack of pictures!

Sometimes being tortured can be fun. If he was giggling, then the torture was a good thing :-)
