And forget not that the earth delights to feel your bare feet and the winds long to play with your hair. ~ Kahlil Gibran

I Am Begging You

Please, Please, children. Sleep. Or pretend to sleep. Or become hypnotized by the tv and don't speak or move until tomorrow morning.

Or at least for a few hours.

I am tired. So tired my body aches.

I can't think.

I don't remember how many hours it has been that I have been awake. Over 36, I know. somewhere over 40, I think.

Please sleep.

I was going to comment, but I was afraid I might wake you up.

By the way, thank you for the music. I turned the volume down this morning.

One word: Nyquil

Give them a little before bedtime. ;-)

This is why I don't have kids.

You could try whiskey, scotch, or any other hard liquor. Yeah, you can give it to your kids, but I was thinking you could take it yourself. At least that way, you just won't care if you're so tired!

Now, you know I'm just kidding you!

Hi Barefoot,

It's all worth it in the end. Life started for me when I became a dad... but like you, I could have done without the sleep deprivation!

Thanks for sharing

Peter.

PS. Some of these verification codes are a nightmare if you're mildly dyslexic

I remember those days. They are in the past. Hope you were able to get some sleep.
