The Whole Chain Maille Clan
Here we all are....
Belts for the girls are in the making, but if you think I am going to post of something pretty stretched across my ample belly, you're nuts.
And it took you how long? What is th chain mail made from? So amazing and wonderful. Major Kudo's on a job so well done. (is it still cool to say Kudo's?...)
Oh, I can't do this stuff! This was done by our close friend (pictured in the top photo and then the bottom two). He uses aluminum links bought bulk from somewhere in Canada and has recently begun adding chain he found at the local hardware place. I am not sure how long any one piece takes him, but I know he leaves one thursday saying he has an idea for something and comes back the next thursday with an almost finished project ready for a "fitting".
The dude is SERIOUSLY talented.
Oh, and as for kudos? I think we are old enough to say whatever we want, cool or not!
