And forget not that the earth delights to feel your bare feet and the winds long to play with your hair. ~ Kahlil Gibran

The Name Game

Ok, I have decided that DH needs a name for my blog. I have the Sprouts, and of course I am Barefoot. I just hate the anonymity of DH. It doesn't say much of anything about him. So I have come up with some options, and would love your help in deciding which to pick.

1. Animal-- a reference to his being a drummer (you know, Animal from the Muppets?).

2. The Rock-- in the good way, he is my rock. In the bad way, he is stubborn as a rock. Also a wrestling reference, and he is a huge fan.

3. Shoe-wearing Non-gardener---- well, because he is

4. Great-love-of-my-life-without-whom-I-live-in-darkness ---- because he might read this.

5. Mr. Barefoot-- even though he usually isn't (barefoot, that is).

Well, I am out of ideas....at least for now. Please let me know which you like best, or feel free to make suggestions. I would like to continue the whole gardening thing I got going on here, but am running dry of ideas...

Well, I think that Mr. Barefoot is good, Animal might suggest something else to some people, and Great-love... is waaaay to long to type very often!

I should probably think of a name from my DH too. Since I have Almost Grown and Not Quite Grown, and he is a boy, how about Never Gown (up) ?

Well, #4 is WAY too long. And #3 is pretty long.

Animal...not necessarily a term of endearment.

2 or 5...either of those could be good.

Apollo - god of the Sun or "Great-Love-of-my-life-without-whom-I-live-in-darkness" ;).

I vote for Animal. *grin* Soooooo many connotations in that one!

Well I vote for The Rock. Second would be Mr. Barefoot, I suppose.

Happy New Year to you and yours!!
