Welcome to my garden. Come in, take off your shoes, and let me offer you a seat in the shade, a cool drink, and friendly conversation while we enjoy the beauty of the day...
And forget not that the earth delights to feel your bare feet and the winds long to play with your hair. ~ Kahlil Gibran
I saw the picture of that house in our newspaper last week and thought it would be a nice one too--love the front porch! I hope someday you can have your own house AND garden.
That shack isn't too much smaller than my current living quarters! :) Of course I have a new, bigger house to look forward to, although I am getting frustrated with how long it's taking...
I do feel better living here, in this tiny cabin, than I did living in a beautiful rental home with a spectacular view.

Ruthie-
Thanks...It's nice to dream.
There was a time when I would have taken the shack, too ... in fact, somedays my house looks just like that :).
Keep up the dream! It may not look exactly like the first picture, but chances are good it will much better than the second ;).
at least the shack has lots of land! right? right!

Hang in there, and keep dreaming!
Thanks for the encouragement, all. I am gonna keep on keepin' on, and hopefully I will get there someday.
LOL Also advising to keep up the hope. Oh, and save money if at all possible. Having $$ for a down helps immensely!
Hehe...Me? Save $$$? But there are so many pretty things I don't own yet!
Just kidding. I am working on it, but something always seems to happen where that money is needed elsewhere....
Besides, isn't there a house fairy or something who goes around granting house wishes?
