My Space...

This is where I do all my crafting. Well, all the crafting I can do indoors. Some of my stuff has to be done outside (like my basket weaving and Gnome Home making). I somehow have managed to fit all of my beading, scrapbooking, painting, and woodburning supplies into this little area. Notice all the stuff hanging on the walls.

I think I would be able to make this area even smaller and more efficient, but I refuse to pay for the nifty neat storage systems that are out there. I pick up most of my storage things at the thrift store, so none of them match.

You can see that right now my space is set up for beading. At any given time, this space can be covered with any number of crafting supplies. It also ends up being the dumping ground for things DH finds around the house that he knows are mine but doesn't know what to do with.

Someday, I would like to have a real studio. It would be so cool to have a room devoted entirely to my creative processes. The best part? I would put a big ol' lock on the door, so NO ONE could interrupt me.

Lovely space ;). I would love to have a sewing room (or even just a corner) with tons of fabric and different colored threads, and my sewing machine having a permanent and prominent place in the room - not that I'm that great of a sewer or anything, but I would do it more if I didn't have to rearrange the room and clean off the dining room table at the beginning, middle (for meals) and end of every single project.

Glad to hear that you've got your own crafting space, even if isn't a room of it's own. Nice little desk area, though!

Why thank you. Here I posted this little thing thinking about how crud-dy my space was, and instead I got reminded how lucky I am to HAVE a space.
