And forget not that the earth delights to feel your bare feet and the winds long to play with your hair. ~ Kahlil Gibran

The Middle Name Game

Kati tagged me, so here goes...

Here are the rules: You have to post these rules on your blog. Players, you must list one fact that is somehow relevant to your life for each letter of your middle name. If you do not have a middle name, choose one you would like to have. When tagged, write your own blog post containing your middle name facts. At the end, choose one person to tag for each letter of your middle name. Then leave them a comment telling them they have been tagged.

My middle name is LYNN, so

L--Lost. I like to get lost in the woods, on backroads, in a book. I like the idea of getting totally immersed in whatever I am doing. I have a fairly good sense of direction, so I am never so lost that I can't find my way home. I just like the experience of not knowing what lies around the next bend. I like to explore.

Y--Yap, Yap, Yapping. I am a talker. That is probably why I started this blog. I like to talk about all the things that bounce around in my head, but realise that to most people my chatter is boring. Here I have the best of both worlds. I get to talk as much as I want about whatever I want, and noone has to listen. The best part? I can PRETEND I have an audience of thousands!

N--Notebook. I have a huge collection of notebooks. I know, I know, I am killing trees. But there is something about a fresh notebook, with nothing in it yet, that excites me. All the possibilities of things that can be written! I can keep lists of items I have bought, capture my dreams before they fade in the morning sun, plan out next year's garden, tell a story, copy a meaningful quote or poem, record sweet things that the sprouts do, the possibilities are endless.

N--Natural. I prefer things that are natural. I don't like it that everything today seems to be dyed and painted and genetically altered, sprayed and twisted and mutated. Why can't we just see the beauty and usefulness in things when they are in their natural state?

Okay, now for the tag...

I tag Deb, Unusually Unusual, Angelina, and Gina.
