And forget not that the earth delights to feel your bare feet and the winds long to play with your hair. ~ Kahlil Gibran

Love Fest

I have been awarded this beautiful award by Kati of Dragonfly's Musings. She said such sweet things! Thank you so much Kati.

So, I am to pass this on...Hmmm.

First, to Deb at Sand Creek Almanac. She is a fabulous gal, living with her family in a cabin while building a home up north. She is friendly, musically talented, and so fun to read. I always look forward to her posts.

Second, e4 of GreenBlueBrown. E4 was one of the first bloggers I ever "talked to", and he made me feel very welcome in a new environment. He tells stories about his homestead with grace and humor.

Third, there is Lynne at Hasty Brook. I love her photos! It is so fun to see the world through someone elses eyes, and she is generous with sharing her point of view.

I know I should pass this on to 5 people, but I would rather send this out to 3 I really believe deserve it than just pull some names out of my backside. So, there you are. 3 people who truly deserve a NICE MATTERS award.

Barefoot- I don't know what to say. I'm really touched! But, how do you know that I am musically talented? ;) You've never heard me, although I'd gladly copy a few songs off some very rough recordings I made with a friend a couple years ago and send you. Email me (on my sidebar) if you're interested! I hope to do some more recording, in my spare time (ha ha, I seem to have none!)

Deb-

Anyone who can play as many instruments as you do has got to "have it". Besides, I remember a certain post, probably a year ago, when you were talking about the way everything came together while you were playing one day and you "zenned out" to the music. No one can do that who doesn't have the talent of music appreciation and a love of it. If you sucked, you wouldn't play.

Oh, and you're welcome.
