Things are warming up here in my little corner of MN, and though I know that there will be snow and cold days to come before we can truly say "Spring is Here!!!", I can finally see the light at the end of the tunnel.
With warmer weather has come a burst of creativity, and I am finding myself retreating more and more to the work room with boxes of beads and findings and making jewelry, or sitting down with pen and paper and jotting down ideas for new crocheting projects. I have even been eye-ing a cross-stitch project I had started and then discarded because I really didn't like the way it was turning out.
All this activity would be much more fun if I didn't have Little Sprout hanging on everything I did, asking questions and needing my attention for "just a minute" to get her this or that. On the up side, she is taking an interest in crafting, herself (something Big Sprout just hasn't really gotten into), and now she will sit next to me with paper punches and crayons and make her own projects while I cuss and sing, working on my own.
Yes, I cuss and sing while I work. The cussing is for when things aren't working out well, the singing is to keep me from cussing. It works. Kinda.
~ And that's all I have to say about that ~

Little Sprout helping at the craft table is what it is really about. Those memories will carry you along the years.
I love it that you sing to not cuss. That is too cute. I may have to try that. Ha.
watch out, spring will make you crazy! i say cuss WHILE you sing.
You could teach yourself to rap so that you can cuss without it sounding so bad - as long as there is no one around to bleep you!
