And forget not that the earth delights to feel your bare feet and the winds long to play with your hair. ~ Kahlil Gibran

Ren Fest 2009

We made it this year! Yay!

I love the Renaissance Festival here in MN. I love the sights, the sounds, the FOODS. Little Sprout loved the Hobbit hole, but got very upset when she couldn't find "Elbow".

Little Sprout loved this tortoise, too. I think she would have happily chased it around the entire fair. She got her face painted, and conned a pair of fairy wings out of Grandpa.

Big Sprout got herself a cute little stuffed puppy, a feathered hair ornament, and a flowered garland. She had a blast, and didn't wanna go home.

It was a good time, but I am just too tired to tell you all about it..... maybe tomorrow.

I bet it's been 10 years since I've been to that festival. Thanks for sharing these fun pics of The Sprouts.

Your girls are so cute. I really enjoyed the photos. Little sprout is so cute with her face painted. Looks like you all had a fun time.

I keep forgetting to say that I like your new back ground on your blog.

Ooooh!! I'm so happy for you that you made it to the Ren Fest this year! I was hoping to go this year, but we missed the Deaf Awareness day, dang it! There is a large deaf population in the DC area, because of Gallaudet, so the Ren Fest has a weekend where they hire interpreters for everything and deaf people get a little discount to go in. Our RenFest runs for 8 weeks I think, and I am SO going next year!! *marking calendar now*
