And forget not that the earth delights to feel your bare feet and the winds long to play with your hair. ~ Kahlil Gibran

Baby, That Is Not A Hat

Taking a shower is always an adventure when you are a mother. Little ones have no sense of privacy or their parent's need for it.

Today, I was taking a shower in preparation for the meeting tonight, and Little Sprout was entertaining herself by banging on the door and asking if I was "alwight in dere?". Then she would solemnly tell me that the door was stuck, and that I had better "open it up".

Of course I delayed this as long as possible.

When I finally did open the door, I found Little Sprout standing outside the door (where our laundry area is) with MY UNDERWEAR ON HER HEAD.

Thank goodness it was clean underwear.

I thought about posting a picture, but letting y'all see my panties is just going a little too far.

Oh, and she informed the waitress at the Traditional Friday Lunch that I wanted my soup in a "cuck".

Oh, help.

ROFL Yep, she's gonna give you a run for your money. (Tay's "scary" word was "Fox". She couldn't pronounce the "x". It came out as "fock". She loved talking about the stuffed (taxedermied) fox at the Fish & game dept. my mom worked at -Tay's favorite animal, at that point- and telling everybody about it. Imagine clearing that up at church! *grin*)

Hope Little Sprout quickly learns to pronounce her sounds correctly to save you from embarassing explanations. *wink* As for the undershorts, yeah.... I'm with ya on the TMI to share a pic of that.
