And forget not that the earth delights to feel your bare feet and the winds long to play with your hair. ~ Kahlil Gibran

Irritability

To start the day, I attempted to dress only to find that I haven't done my own laundry in so long that there is literally nothing that fits me clean. I pulled out my summer clothes, figuring I could throw on some shorts while I did laundry and cleaned my apt (which is currently impersonating the sty of some very filthy pigs). Yeah, good luck with that as I have somehow managed to put on so much weight over the winter that none of my summer clothes fit.

Hmph.

I finally found something suitably stretchy enough to cover my fat ass, and headed into the kitchen to get the dishes started. Oh. My. God. Dishes piled on every surface, a sink full of slimy water full of nasty dishes, food crusted on every thing.

I just decided to dive in and see what I could do (after throwing my clothes in the washer, of course) only to realise that the trash hasn't been taken out and there is nowhere to dump all the bits and pieces that everyone was too lazy to scrape off their plates before adding them to the pile.

What a pain.

There has been a broo-ha-ha at my work (the full time one) that, though I am unable to discuss it due to privacy issues and the fact that it is being investigated, may result in me being jobless for a while.

I didn't do anything wrong, just so you all know.

I am almost hoping that the house I work at does get shut down. I am fat, tired, have unexplainable aches and pains, and really just need a break.

On top of all this, the bubblemaker ran out of bubbles!

Let me tell you, I am feeling pretty dang irritated today.

Pretty soon I have to head out to spend hours and hours accomplishing a certain task that Mr. Barefoot wants me to do that is just a pain in the butt. I hope I have decent clothes clean and dry before I have to leave for that....

I suppose I had better go and get all this taken care of. Ciao!

Hmmm you are sounding a lot like me....and I'm pretty sure that you just described my apartment to a T.

Sorry to hear about the job situation, hopefully you can find a few moments to relax and find some inner peace while on your "vacation". I've actually gotten to the point where I am joining a meditation group at the Buddhist temple....

I'm sending you some good vibes from the desert...I don't have many good ones left at the moment, but I can spare a couple for a fellow person in need :)

Oh sweety!!! I'm sorry that today seemed to gang all up on you. I hope you eventually got everything straightened out and the day ends better than it started out.

Whatever's going on at work, I hope it doesn't harm the residents or you. (((((HUGS))))) and many blessings wished your way!!!

Oh, I feel your pain Barefoot! Nothing like clothes that don't fit (on top of all the other crap) to totally ruin your day. I'm afraid to get my summer clothes out. I hope things settle down a little bit for you soon.

Ditto on the clothing issue...

If we were local, we could put the little ones in strollers and walk and talk and work those asses off in no time at all!!

Hang in there-it's finally spring.
