And forget not that the earth delights to feel your bare feet and the winds long to play with your hair. ~ Kahlil Gibran

So Confused...

This morning Dad and I took Little Sprout for her first sled ride. She didn't know if she liked it, especially when we had to go over bumps, but overall it went well. We tried to put her in the stroller (since Mr. Barefoot was naughty and didn't get her dressed this morning or put shoes on her, so she couldn't walk), but we got quite a bit of snow last night and the stroller just wouldn't roll.

All day I have been feeling confused. I keep thinking it is Friday, which my calendar assures me it is not. I suppose that is the side effect of not getting much sleep over the last few days. Ah, well, I will get to sleep tonight (if I can ever kill the dragon in my tummy).

I have been slowly but surely following the steps in the book "Your Money or Your Life", and have already seen quite a change in myself and my feelings about the almighty $$. I just wish I could get Mr. Barefoot to read the book! He is so resistive to any of those kind of things. Totally convinced he knows everything, just like a teenager....

Anywhoo, that is about all I have for today....sorry it's not too great :)

Oh, I want to read that book so bad!!! I'm sorry you haven't been getting much sleep...I'll throw some deep, refreshing sleep vibes your way, as long as you promise not to throw any snow vibes my way!!

I need to read that book again! I remember being struck by the novelty of the idea that you trade an hour of your life for an hour's pay, and what do you really want to get out of that exchange. Brilliant!

Cat-
Thanks for those restful vibes! Don't worry, I will keep all the snow up here in the frozen north ;)

Lisa-
I am having a great time reading it, and can't believe how much my attitude has changed already. I even convinced Mr. Barefoot to go along for the ride!
