Not Fun At All

Gack!

Yesterday morning everything was fine. Then, while at lunch with my Dad and Bro, I developed a MAJOR toothache. Anyone who has ever had a really bad toothache knows that this pain shoots from the offending tooth (or teeth) all the way to the top of your head and then down your neck and into your shoulder. Your eye hurts, your nose hurts, everything hurts.

So I went home, took about 10,000mg of tylenol and advil, cried a little, and waited for the pain to subside.

While all this was going on, DH went to the clinic for what he thought was a pulled muscle in his abdomen. They still have not found what is causing the pain in his abdomen, but he came home with a script for blood-pressure meds because his blood-pressure was very, VERY high. Today he is going in for a CT scan to find out if there is anything else going on that we don't know about.

I am worried.

To top off the whole experience, we took Big Sprout to swimming this morning only to find out that someone had pooped in the pool earlier this morning, so Big Sprout couldn't go in the water.

Now, by my calculations, that is 3 things. Since trouble is supposed to come in 3s, this means nothing more can happen for a while. Right? RIGHT?!?

Ummmm, yeah, sure.... Right. Anyway, here's hoping that this is the last of the bad things for quite a while.

Right! Three is the rule. You've done it and not things must get better! At least I surely hope they do!

Yikes. At least you got the three bad things out of the way already. Sounds like Ed McMahon should be by with a giant check on the upswing...

Poo'd in the pool? Yuck! And I suppose it didn't turn out to just be a Baby Ruth. That would be to easy..

Hope the tooth is better. I completely understand.. I have some oral surgery that I need but can't afford (wisdom tooth) so I get the occasional down-for-the-count pain.

Could DH have a hernia? I had one and had to have it fixed about 7 months ago. Not fun, but better than living in constant burning pain.

Can't wait to hear about the arrival of Ed McMahon!
