I Jinxed it!

Yeah. Remember yesterday when I was so proud of Little Sprout for sleeping after our morning walk so I could take a shower! Umm, she doesn't want to do that anymore. Evidently someone let her know that mommy had taken a nice hot shower after walking in the cold, and she isn't having any of that craziness going on in her house anymore. I guess "no showers" was in the fine print of the contract I signed when I decided to become a parent, and I didn't notice.

In related news, I have been wondering about the poor kids who are on Sesame Sreet and Elmo. I like that they have those adorable little kids singing songs and talking to the puppets, but little kids have a tendency to think that Cookie Monster, Grover, and the crew are REAL. What does it do to their little psyches to find out that their little puppet friends aren't alive? That has got to be just devastating.

And what is wrong with the kids on Barney? No child is that animated! They all look like idiots! And the adults on the show? Even worse! You would think that at least an adult would be able to act without looking like some kind of freak.

I can't wait for the new "Bear" DVDs to come in the mail! May all the gods bless Amazon.com!

Awwww, I hope she starts sleeping through the walks & your showers again. LOL

And hopes that your new Bear DVDs get there quickly because NOBODY who loves Bear should have to go without! *wink*

LMAO! Be glad you had it good as long as you did.. Teenager still hates it when I take time for myself in the shower! Sigh.

Here's to hoping she reverts back to sleeping.. :)

I don't remember showering that often in my early thirties when the kids were little. It was like a forbidden pleasure.

And I totally agree on Barney! Those kids irritate me. We all scream in horror if we happen to turn on PBS when Barney is on. :)

Kati-
The first one came right after I posted this...I am so HAPPY!

Mysti-
If she continues this until she is a teen, we are going to have some very serious discussions.

Deb-
Aren't the sacrifices we make for our kids just horrible?
